Hilary Erhard Duff was born on September 28, 1987. Hilary Erhard Duff is an American actress, pop singer-songwriter and entrepreneur. After working in local theater plays and television commercials in her childhood, Duff gained fame for playing the title role in the television series Lizzie McGuire. Hilary Erhard Duff went on to have a film career; her most commercially successful movies include Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), and A Cinderella Story (2004).

Hilary Erhard Duff has expanded her repertoire into pop music, with four RIAA certified Platinum albums and over thirteen million albums sold worldwide. Her first studio album, Metamorphosis (2003), was certified triple platinum and she followed it up with two more platinum albums, Hilary Duff (2004) and Most Wanted (2005). Duff’s last studio album, Dignity, was released in April 2007 and was certified Gold in August 2007.

Kara Elizabeth DioGuardi was born December 9, 1970. Kara DioGuardi is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, music publisher, A&R executive, and TV personality. Kara DioGuardi writes music primarily in the light pop-rock, dance, and R&B genres. DioGuardi has worked with Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Demi Lovato, Hilary Duff and Paula Abdul, among many others. She is also a judge on American Idol, having joined the show in its eighth season and is now working with its winner, Kris Allen. DioGuardi currently serves as Vice President of A&R for Warner Bros. Records where she was appointed to in 2008. She is a cousin of the veteran TV personality Regis Philbin.
